St. Louis Magazine

January 2017 - June 2017

At a the Digital Media intern at St. Louis Magazine, I spent my time assisting on a variety of creative and editorial tasks, as well as creating several larger projects of my own. Outside of the creation of short-form web copy, articles, and email blasts, I also handled photography for multiple editorial pieces and listicles from the Dining Editor, and completed several video projects and motion graphics templates.

Research Editorial Project

For my final project at St. Louis Magazine, I decided to create a multimedia project focusing on an abandoned 19th century mansion here in St. Louis. Over the course of a month and a half, I conducted interviews, reached out to historical societies for materials, and did extensive research to create a well-rounded and historically accurate history of the property and the family that built it and how it came to be condemned and a shell of its former self. I gathered and shot photo and video material and created a short video for circulation on social media, and wrote a longer piece to accompany the video. It was published through St. Louis Magazine.
