Mavuno Congo

Mavuno is a grassroots development organization empowering local leaders to end extreme poverty in Eastern Congo. Mavuno empowers local leaders to create their own solutions to extreme poverty, partnering with them to bring stability and prosperity. Mavuno envisions a peaceful and thriving Congo where all people have the opportunity to create their own future. As the multimedia intern, I was responsible for a variety of tasks–– including but not limited to: video production, writing and editing blog posts, award submissions, and creating publications like a press kit.
